LyniaGo terms and conditions
Last updated 30 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and LyniaGo when you use the LyniaGo app, the LyniaGo
Merchant app or lyniago.com. LyniaGo is operated by FortyoneX Studio (Private) Limited in Zimbabwe
("LyniaGo", "we", "us").
The short version. LyniaGo connects people who need something delivered with
independent riders, and connects hungry customers with restaurants and shops. We do not carry the
parcel, cook the food or take your money for it: you agree the price and pay the rider or the business
directly. Be honest, be safe, be respectful, and pay what you agreed.
Part A applies to everyone. Then read the part for how you use LyniaGo: Part B
for customers, Part C for riders and Part D for
businesses. One person can be more than one of these.
Part A · For everyone
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using LyniaGo you accept these terms and our
privacy notice. If you do not accept them, do not use LyniaGo.
2. What LyniaGo is
LyniaGo is a marketplace. We provide the app that lets customers, riders and businesses find each
other, agree a price and follow a delivery. Riders are independent: they are not our employees or agents.
Restaurants and shops sell their own food and goods. The agreement to carry a parcel is between the
customer and the rider, and the sale of food or goods is between the customer and the business.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to use LyniaGo.
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to
yourself: you are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Give us true details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Settings → Delete account). See
Delete your account & data.
4. Prices and payment
- For parcels, you set the price. We show a suggested fare, riders accept it or
counter, and you choose. The price you choose is the agreed price.
- For food and shop orders, the business sets the item prices and the app shows the delivery fee
before you order.
- LyniaGo does not take payment for parcels, food or goods. You pay the rider or
the business directly, in cash or by mobile money, as the order shows. Pay the agreed amount.
- Any fee LyniaGo charges you is shown in the app before it applies.
5. Rules for everyone
Do not use LyniaGo to:
- break the law, or send, sell or carry anything illegal or dangerous;
- cheat, including fake orders, fake accounts, fake ratings or not paying what you agreed;
- threaten, harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone;
- use someone else's account or number;
- copy, scrape, hack or interfere with the app or its data.
6. Ratings and reports
After an order, customers and riders rate each other. Ratings must be honest. If something goes wrong,
report it in the app or contact us (section 12). We will look into it and may ask everyone involved
for their side.
7. Suspending or closing accounts
We may warn you, limit your account, suspend it or close it if you break these terms, if we suspect
fraud or a safety risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you why. If
you think we got it wrong, contact us.
8. The app
We work to keep LyniaGo running, but it can be slow or unavailable, for example when the network is
down. We may change, add or remove features. The LyniaGo name, logo and app belong to us; you may use
the app, but not copy or resell it.
9. Our responsibility
- We are responsible for running the app with reasonable care.
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of food, goods or
parcels, or for what riders, customers or businesses do or fail to do. The rider is responsible for
the parcel while carrying it; the business is responsible for its food and goods.
- We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for lost profits or lost
business.
- If we are found responsible for a loss, the most we will pay is the total fees you paid LyniaGo in
the 3 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Zimbabwean law that cannot be taken
away.
If you break these terms and it causes us a loss or a claim against us, you are responsible for it.
10. Your data
How we collect and use personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We change the date at the top when we do, and we tell you in the app
before a big change takes effect. If you keep using LyniaGo after that, you accept the new terms.
12. Contact, complaints and law
Help: WhatsApp +263 77 883 1938, or email
hello@lyniago.com. These terms are governed by the
laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe decide any dispute. If part of these terms cannot be
enforced, the rest still applies.
Part B · For customers
13. Sending a parcel
- Describe the item honestly, and add a photo if asked. The declared value of a parcel may not be
more than US$150.
- Do not send: cash, weapons, drugs, prescription medicine, stolen goods, anything
illegal or dangerous (such as fuel, gas or explosives), live animals, or anything worth more than the
cap. A rider may refuse or cancel a parcel that breaks these rules.
- Pack it properly, be ready at the pickup point, and make sure someone is at the drop-off point
to receive it.
- The receiver gives the rider the delivery code. Only share it when the parcel is in your hands
(or theirs).
14. Ordering food and shop items
- The restaurant or shop prepares your order and is responsible for it, including what is in it.
If you have an allergy, tell the business in the note before you order.
- Once the business starts preparing your order, you may not be able to cancel it.
- Be at the delivery point and answer your phone. If the rider cannot reach you, or you refuse the
order at the door without a good reason, the order goes back to the business, the rider keeps the
delivery fee and you may not get a refund.
- If something is missing or wrong, report it in the app or contact us straight away.
Part C · For riders
15. Becoming a rider
- You must pass our ID check (your national ID and a selfie) before you can go online.
- You must hold a valid driving licence, and your motorbike must be registered, roadworthy and
insured as the law requires.
- You are an independent rider. You choose when to go online and which jobs to take. You are
responsible for your own taxes, fuel, phone and equipment.
16. On the job
- Only accept a job you can do. Collect it, carry it carefully and deliver it to the right person
with the delivery code. Obey the road rules.
- You are responsible for a parcel or order from pickup until handover.
- Do not open, swap or keep anything you carry. Refuse any item on the list in section 13 and report
it.
- Cancelling a job after you have been chosen counts as a strike. Every third strike takes you
offline for 2 hours.
- Your location is shared with the customer while you are on a job, as explained in the
privacy notice.
17. Money you collect
- The customer pays you the agreed fare directly.
- For a cash food order, you collect the amount the app shows at the door, keep the delivery fee
and return the rest to the restaurant as the app tells you. Not returning a business's money
is theft: we will suspend your account and may report it.
18. Commission and your wallet
LyniaGo may charge riders a commission on completed jobs, taken from a prepaid wallet you top up.
The commission is 0% today. Before it changes, we will tell you the rate in the app.
When a commission applies, you may not be able to go online while your wallet balance is too low.
Part D · For businesses
19. Your business on LyniaGo
- You must be allowed to run your business and sell what you list. Only list items you can legally
sell; a pharmacy lists over-the-counter products only.
- Keep your menu or items, prices, photos, opening hours and location accurate. Do not charge
LyniaGo customers more than the price you listed.
- Food must be safe, prepared hygienically and packed so it travels well.
- Accept or decline orders promptly, and have them ready when the rider arrives.
- You are responsible for your food and goods, and for the people you add to your team. Remove
anyone who should no longer have access.
20. Payment and riders
- Customers pay you directly, or pay the rider, who returns your money to you. Check the amount and
confirm it in the app.
- If a rider does not return your money, report it in the app straight away.
- When you book a rider for your own deliveries, you pay the rider the agreed fare.
- Any fee LyniaGo charges your business is shown to you in the app, or agreed in writing, before it
applies.
